About Us

Rhythm Performing Arts is a multicultural organization, unifying everyone under one art form: DANCE. Get exposed to a variety of international dance forms, get a stress-buster work out, and make countless new friends! Our mission is to promote artistic and creative expression through dance and diverse performing arts at many private and public events, and festivals all across the GTA, while encouraging community, diversity, teamwork, and leadership. As a performance dance organization, we provide a full Broadway experience to students who are passionate about the performing arts.

Members of the dance team train intensively with weekly dance practices to hone their dance abilities. And for those members who do not wish to dance but still have a passion for the performance world, they contribute to the flare and vibrancy in costume designing, make-up artistry, stage set designing, event management and stage management.

Everything around us has a Rhythm. The word “rhythm” isn’t bound by any definitions which is the main inspiration to the name of our organization.
From a dancer’s footsteps to a musician’s dub step; from your heart pumping blood in our body to our stomach growling; from the birds chirping in the sky to the trees swaying in the air; from the dolphins dancing in the water to the bats moving through the wind; from a chef chopping onions to a clerk typing his essay; from my sleep/awake cycle to the earth revolving around the sun! Rhythm is a part of our life! In actuality, we are a part of rhythm.
